A party under the pavilion — balloon arch, buffet laid out on the antique wagon, guests at the tables

What we host

Built for
every occasion.

Micro-weddings, birthdays, family gatherings and private dinners — on a property that is covered, heated and genuinely usable whatever the day is doing.

Micro-weddings

Small on the guest list.
Big on the setting.

A micro-wedding is the size where you actually get to talk to everyone who came. Tell us your headcount and we will lay out what fits — and there is a ceremony spot here for every kind of light.

  • One event at a time — never two parties sharing the farm
  • Ceremony on the lawn, at the oaks, or out on the pond deck
  • A perfect place to elope — just the two of you and whoever you bring
  • A perfect setting to propose to your future bride
  • Covered pavilion for dinner and dancing, rain or shine
  • Getting-ready space and lodging on site (see Stay)
  • Parking on the grass, right where guests arrive
  • Bring your own caterer, bar and music — no forced vendor list

Birthdays & parties

Somewhere the kids
can actually go.

Milestone birthdays, graduations, baby showers, engagement parties. The pool and cornhole handle the afternoon; the pavilion and the fire handle the evening. Nobody is stuck inside a rented room waiting for it to be over.

  • Pool with water wheel, loungers and shaded seating
  • Cornhole on the deck and open ground for whatever else you bring
  • Outdoor grill and covered seating beside the water
  • Fishing in the pond — catfish and bass, rods welcome
  • Big-screen TV under the pavilion for the game

Family gatherings

Three generations,
one piece of ground.

Reunions, anniversaries, Sunday suppers, memorials. The reason families keep coming back is simple: the grandparents get a shaded chair with a view, the teenagers get the pool, and the small ones get a farm full of animals to chase.

  • Flat, mown ground and short walks between everything
  • Ducks, geese, turkeys and rabbits roaming freely — longhorns arriving
  • Shaded pavilion seating within sight of the pool and pond
  • Room to set up long tables under cover

The barn head-on after dark, the timber interior glowing gold under a black sky Head-on, after dark

Private events

Rehearsal dinners
and days out.

Anything that plays better around a fire than around a conference table. Rehearsal dinners the night before, corporate days that people don't resent, client dinners, holiday parties, photo and video shoots. Groups come down from Mississippi and over from Baton Rouge for exactly this — somewhere that feels like the South actually feels.

  • Full-height stone fireplace, lit whenever you want it
  • Saddle-stool bar and antique wagon serving table
  • Genuinely photogenic in every direction, at every hour
  • Quiet countryside — no neighbours, no noise curfew anxiety

Straight answers

The things everyone
asks first.

How many guests fit?

More than you would guess — the lawn, the pavilion and the poolside all seat people comfortably. Send us your headcount and we will tell you honestly how it lays out.

Can we bring our own caterer and bar?

Yes. There is no required vendor list. Bring the people you want, or ask and we will point you to who does good work locally.

What if it rains?

The pavilion is fully roofed and open on three sides, so dinner and dancing carry on regardless. It is the reason this place works on any date you pick.

Is the whole property ours?

We only book one event at a time, so you are never sharing the pond, the pool or the pavilion with another party. Tell us the hours you need and we will sort the rest.

Can guests stay the night?

The country home on the property sleeps your wedding party. See Stay for the house and live dates.

What does it cost?

It depends on the date, the day of the week and the hours you need. Send us a date and a headcount and you will get a straight number back, not a brochure.

Let's talk

So — what are we planning?

Send a date and a rough headcount. We will come back with what the farm looks like that week and exactly what it costs.
